Closed loop color control at the production machine

Monitoring color throughout production can catch errors early, resulting in less waste and a higher quality product. When combined with an X-Rite inline spectrophotometer, ESWin Closed Loop Color Control software monitors color quality and automatically corrects deviations to the target to ensure color remains in tolerance. It automatically controls up to 3 dyes plus optical brightening agents.

Automatically Controls the Color at the Production Machine

ESWin CLCC software controls the inline device to take color measurements on the production line and returns results in easy-to-interpret graphic displays and printed reports. If color starts to shift, ESWin CLCC makes changes automatically. It uses a special calculation algorithm to control and add colorants at the beginning of the process to minimize deviations from the target color. It also enables automatic closed loop color control on the machine for cost-efficient production.

Enables Operators to Make Quick, Educated Changes

Displays color measurement data in an easy-to-understand trending format and adjusts color deviations to correct current or emerging problems. The software can be remotely controlled from a DCS to start a new production and send the current color values to the DCS. This connection can be through OPC, a communication database, or ASCII files. Even 4-20 mA signals can be used for the data output.
