Software connectivity to eXact: What software applications can I or should I use with my eXact handheld?The eXact comes with 2 free software utilities; eXact Manager and Data-Catcher.The X-Rite eXact™ Manager is used to:
• View and edit all configuration settings on the instrument
• Backup/Restore configuration settings
• Review instrument condition and run diagnostics
• Update instrument firmware, color libraries, tools, register your device and get the latest updates, product news.
Data-Catcher is used to:
• Capture measurements from tethered eXact instruments and transfer the data directly to an application, such as Microsoft® Excel, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Outlook, or notepad.
