PantoneLIVE license fails after upgrade to Adobe plugin

Some customers have reported license issues following an upgrade from v1.0 to v1.0.1 of the Adobe Illustrator plugin. A workaround for this issue is for the license OWNER to deactivate and then reissue or reclaim a new license key. The person using the license must then respond to the automated email and activate the new key at his or her workstation.
