Testing your 7000A / PC Connection with Hyper Terminal

In the event that your software settings have been verified as being correct, your cable has been verified as being good, and the com port on the PC seems to be working properly, a final test of connectivity to your PC is to test it (and the cable) using Hyper Terminal.
