Storing and Transmitting Sample measurements

The X-Rite 939, 962, 964, SP62 and SP64 all have the ability to store sample measurements and transmit them at a later time. While this is most often done in the context of using an X-Rite QA package, such as X-RiteColor Master, the procedure below can be used along with a terminal program or X-Rite's X-key software to transmit data for use in reports, spreadsheets or other software that does not directly support the particular instrument you have..

  1. Push the X button to get to the main menu
  2. Push the up arrow once to highlight Configuration and hit the Enter button
  3. Push the down arrow once to highlight Measure Options and hit the Enter button
  4. The first option is Store Samples the options are On or Off - If it is Off, hit Enter to turn it On.
