Are DNG profiles camera specific?

Creating profiles but when I go to apply them to images that were shot with another camera they don't show up in the profile list.

DNG profiles will contain information that associates them to your specific camera model. If you have a multi-camera workflow, you will only see the profiles that have been created for the same camera as the image you are currently editing.
