Computing Time from Master Series Export Files

In Master Series software, when data is transferred out as .TXT or .MIF or .XTF files, TIME is listed as 3143422 or some 7 digit number. What does this number represent? This number shows the time in minutes since New Year's, 1990. X-Rite instruments use the same method to represent date & time. The computation is as follows:

		Year	= ((TIME - 46080) / 535680) + 1990
		Month	= remainder / 44640 + 1
		Day	    = remainder / 1440 + 1
		Hour	= remainder / 60
		Min 	= remainder
