Install 64-Bit i1Studio Application For ColorMunki Display On Mac

Mac OS X 10.15 requires 64-bit apps and i1Studio 1.5.1(true 64-bit Mac application) will work for CM Display devices.  The end users will need to completely remove the previous CM Display software before installing i1Studio.

ColorMunki Display software is not 64 bit compatible. However, the latest version of i1Studio software now supports the ColorMunki Display device and provides 64 bit compatibility for Mac OS X 10.15 Catalina. You can download this software at no charge. To uninstall ColorMunki Display and then install i1Studio on Mac, please do the following: 

To uninstall ColorMunki Display and then install i1Studio 1.5.1, please do the following:

Unplug the ColorMunki Display device.  To uninstall ColorMunki, delete any of the files or folders that are in the following locations:
 
    Restart the computer and then download and install i1Studio 1.5.1 from the following link:

Restart the computer, plug in the ColorMunki measurement device, and open i1Studio to test.

** The User Library is hidden by default on Mac. To temporarily reveal the hidden User Library folder is to open Finder. On the Mac's Menu bar at the top, select Go to reveal the drop-down menu and then hold down the Option key (marked ALT) on your keyboard and you will see the “Library” folder appear. You may now select this “Library” folder with your mouse or trackpad.

To permanently show your hidden User Library...open Finder, select "Go" in the Mac's Menu bar and choose "Home".  Now go to "View" in the Menu bar and choose "Show View Options".  Check the "Show Library Folder" check box.  Close all windows and close Finder.  Open Finder and now there will be a “Library” when you select “Go” in the Mac Menu bar that takes you to the User Library at: Mac HD/Users/<user name>/Library.
