To check (modify) your system font characteristics proceed as follows:
- Close all applications.
- Right-click on the Windows "Desktop".
- On the displayed dialog box, left-click on "Properties".
- On the next window, left-click on the "Settings" tab.
- Next left-click on the "Advanced" option.
Depending on the version of Windows in use, different tabs are available. In Windows 2000 PRO (above), the "General" tab allows a user to modify the size of font used to display system related text messages. A change here will affect X-RiteColor Master and most if not all other programs installed on the computer. If a change is made, the computer must be restarted before the effects become global in scope. Note that "Small Fonts" is the system default (as shown).
