Overview

The sample backer mat replacement kit (VS3-55-KIT) has been designed to be used with those X-Rite MetaVue benchtop instruments listed in compatibility section.

The sample backer mat provides the proper background color to ensure measurement consistency, especially for thin samples.

To use, position the instrument directly over the backer mat.
