Using i1Pro 1 Assets in i1Profiler 3.2.0

i1Profiler version 3.2.0 has removed the support of i1Pro 1 devices (Rev A - D). Can I keep using Asset files in i1Profiler v 3.2.0, which were created with i1Pro 1 in legacy versions of i1Profiler?
 Yes, you can partially…

Measurement data from i1Pro 1 (or iO 1) can be re-used. When loading, a message will prompt you, that the data file will be reconfigured for an i1Pro 3. This means, that the correlated color patches and test chart dimensions will be resorted for chart design guide lines of an i1Pro 3. But the reference and measurement data values will NOT be changed and could e.g. be processed to an ICC profile again.

Test charts for i1Pro 1 can be re-measured with i1Pro 2 or 3. When loading, a message will prompt you, that the data file will be reconfigured for an i1Pro 3. This means, that the correlated color patches and test chart dimensions will be resorted for chart design guide lines of an i1Pro 3. If you want to measure an existing (already printed) i1Pro test chart with an i1Pro 2 or i1Pro 3, edit the patch width and height to the values from the i1Pro chart (eventually measure them in the printed chart), so that the patch break-down fits again to the printed chart.

Test charts for iO 1 can only partially be re-measured with an iO2 or iO3. When loading them, the patch break-down will automatically be reconfigured for an i1Pro 3 (without a warning message). If you want to measure an existing (already printed) iO1 test chart with an iO2 or iO3, try editing the patch width and height to the values from the iO1 chart (eventually measure them in the printed chart).

However, please note, if the color patch size in your printed iO1 chart is smaller than the minimum required patch size for the desired measurement mode with iO2 (spot, single scan, dual scan) or minimum required patch size for the iO3, it might not be re-measurable. It is highly recommended to create and print a new iO2 or iO3 chart from scratch.
