Replacing the Measurement Lamp on the SpectroscanT

To replace the measurement lamp, first turn off the SpectroScan T. Remove the aperture and then pull the lamp down to remove it from its housing. Unplug the lamp from the instrument. Set your new lamp so that the cable and the guide pin are pointing to the right, then carefully insert it into the housing. The guidance pin should fit into the groove. Connect the plug of the new lamp to the Spectroscan and re-insert the aperture.

Turn the instrument back on to automatically perform a re-positioning. Be sure to calibrate before beginning a new measurement.
