Recommendations for maintaining ColorChecker charts
The Munsell ColorChecker Charts are manufactured with very light-resistant colorants. No colorant, however, is absolutely resistant. Avoid exposing the chart to bright light. Store it in its black cover when it is not in use. Also, avoid touching the color patches and protect it from dust, high temperature, humidity or chemical fumes.
Depending on use, it is recommended to replace the ColorChecker charts every two years to ensure correct color identification and consistency.
