Install i1Studio Application For ColorMunki Photo & Design on Windows
CM Photo and Design software is no longer being updated so owners are asked to move to the i1Studio 1.5.0 softwareThe ColorMunki Photo and Design software is not 64 bit compatible. However, the latest version of the i1Studio software now supports the ColorMunki Photo and Design devices and provides 64 bit compatibility. You can download this software at no charge. To uninstall ColorMunki and then install i1Studio on Windows, please do the following:- Close all programs and unplug the ColorMunki measurement device
- Go to Control Panel > Programs & Features and then uninstall “X-Rite Device Services” and “ColorMunki...”.
- Reboot the PC
- Open Windows File Explorer”. Navigate to C:\Program Files (x86)\X-Rite. Delete the “ColorMunki...” and “Devices” folders. If these are the only two folders in the “X-Rite” folder, go ahead and delete the entire “X-Rite” folder.
- Navigate to C:\ProgramData\X-Rite**. Delete the “ColorMunki...” and “Devices” folders. If these are the only two folders in the “X-Rite” folder, go ahead and delete the entire “X-Rite” folder.
- Navigate to C:\Users\<user name>\AppData\Roaming\X-Rite**. Delete the “ColorMunki...” and “Devices” folders. If these are the only two folders in the “X-Rite” folder, go ahead and delete the entire “X-Rite” folder.
**ProgramData is a hidden folder by default. To show the folder, go to Control Panel > Folder Options (File Explorer Options in Windows 10) and select the “View” tab. Make sure to select the “Show hidden files and folders” option and then click “Apply” to save the setting. You will need to close and reopen Windows Explorer (File Explorer in Windows 10) to see the ProgramData folder.
Restart the computer and then download and install i1Studio 1.5.0 from the following link:

Restart the computer, plug in the ColorMunki measurement device, and open i1Studio 1.5.0 to test.
