A:  YES!  PlateScope is the most sophisticated and accurate device ever built for plate measurement. It utilizes a set of high-resolution CMOS cameras that weren’t even available a couple of years ago.

Because of its ability to measure accurately even in extreme highlights and shadows it utilizes a series of sophisticated algorithms to separate signal noise and plate characteristics to determine where a dot physically resides. Also, because plates all hold a dot differently, some with harder edges than others, PlateScope also determines where the edge of the dot lies in order to separate it from the non-image area.
