Battery life is too short with a 396
Battery life for the 396 is too shortThe X-Rite Model 396 sensitometer is manufactured to allow for thousands of exposures with a single 9V alkaline battery. However, the user will need to turn the instrument "Off" immediately after use each day to extend the life of the battery. Leaving the "On/Off" switch in the "On" position will negatively affect the battery's life expectancy.Only Alkaline batteries should be used!!!
