Color Master will not install database in Windows 7 OS

It has been found that in some configurations of Windows 7 OS that the use of short names has been eliminated for program installation. This will inhibit the prgram from installing correctly, especially with regard to the databases. You can confirm this by looking in the program files directory ( if 64 bit, program files X86) and confirming that the folders Data1,2, 3 and 5 have not installed. If this is the case unistall the program and restart the PC. Reinstall the program. When you reach the window that prompts for the install default location change the path to C: XCM. This will force the OS to use short names and should resolve the issue.
