Instrument not found in ProfileMaker 5.0.7 and above (Windows only)

If the DTP70 will not connect to ProfileMaker v.5.0.7 and above (Windows only), there is a very simple solution. Follow these instructions:

  1. Open ProfileMaker
  2. Select "Edit" in the title bar and then click on "Preferences".
  3. In the "Preferences" window, select "AUTO" from the "Instrument Port" drop down menu.
  4. Select "OK" to save the setting.
  5. The user will now be able to successfully connect to the DTP70.

Note: As of PM 5.0.8, there is no direct support for the DTP70 on a Macintosh platform. Please see the "Related Article" at the bottom of this page for a workaround.
