Density Comparison Measurements
How to do density comparisons with transmission densitometers. 301, 331 & 341 series.Density difference measurement
1) Place the reference (film) over the aperture and null the unit on the reference by compressing the measure/read button and momentarily pressing the null button.
2) Replace the reference (film) with the film you wish to compare and read it.
The displayed measurement is the difference between the two. A minus (-) in the display indicates a lower density value.
