Color Eye XTH locked up, "Searching for battery"

The Color Eye XTH may lock up while "Searching for battery" during initialization.

In the event that the Color Eye XTH locks up while "Searching for battery" during initialization, two things may be tried before sending the unit in for repair:

1. Remove the battery and charging cord from the unit and let it sit for one half hour. Test. If not resolved go to step 2.

2. Remove the battery form the Color Eye XTH and charge it by connecting the battery directly to the charging unit. Charge for approximately one half hour. Test.

If not resolved, the instrument will have to be returned to X-Rite for repair.
