After Web Edition Upgrade, Instrument will not Communicate
Problem:
After upgrading to version v8.0.3 of X-RiteColor Master Web Edition, the 8000 series benchtop instrument fails to communicate with the software.
Solution:
If the X-RiteColor Master web edition application is updated to version 8.0.3, the client PCs also must be updated.
In your web browser type in http://webdemo.xrite.com.
Read carefully the instructions on this page and click on the update that applies.
Note: Non-XP users will have to come back to install CMClient after the remote desktop update.
