Activating the SP68 Emulation Mode on the SP62, SP64
X-Rite's new SP62 and SP64 spheres offer improved communications functionality over their older siblings. None-the-less, to ensure backwards compatibility with the Master Series software, they are equipped with an SP68 Emulation mode. Follow the steps below to activate (or to turn off) the SP68 mode of operation:
Press the "Exit" key ( "x" ) to access the Main Menu.
Repeatedly press the "Down" key until "Configuration" is highlighted; then press "Enter".
Repeatedly press the "Down" key until "Hardware Setup" is highlighted; then press "Enter".
"Serial Port" should be highlighted; press "Enter" again.
Repeatedly press the "Down" key until "Emulation" is highlighted; then press "Enter"
Highlight "SP68"; then press "Enter".
Press the "Exit" key ( "x" ) to return to the Main Menu.
