eXactSpectrophotometer

Spectrophotometers are color measurement devices used to capture and evaluate color. They come in many shapes and sizes, ranging from small handheld devices to large benchtop models. Colorimeters are tristimulus (three-filtered) devices that use red, green, and blue filters to emulate the response of the human eye to light and color. They are commonly used for capturing inspiration colors or for applications with loose color tolerances.

IDensitometer and Spectrodensitometer

A pressroom densitometer measures light reflected off the press sheet, while a pressroom spectrodensitometer measures ink density on a color bar. Both devices provide feedback to help press operators adjust ink levels.
