Notes:
Important: Please use version v1.3.0 of eXact 2 Suite if your instrument is running firmware v1.5 or lower. Your instrument firmware must be version v1.6 or higher before updating to eXact 2 Suite v2.X.
This eXact 2 Suite software release supporting all eXact 2 models introduces the following new features and bug fixes, including but not limited to:
- Resolved known MyTool Device Transfers Issues
- Added download status tracking during the FW update process
- Increase the FW transfer speed to device during FW Update
- Improved functionality for DataCatcher for eXact 2 Basic
- Added dTV and dTVI as an accepted tolerance to Basic Compliant Jobs
- Improved messaging and handling when importing a color library that already exists
- Removed the ability to configure eXact 2 Device WiFi via eXact 2 Suite, due to CRA requirements
- Updated EULA
- Additional QOL improvements and minor bug fixes
X-Rite recommends using eXact 2 firmware v2.1 or higher with this software.
Known Issues:
As of Mac OS 27 (Golden Gate), Apple is now flagging Intel-based software applications and notifying users that the app will need to be upgraded to an Apple Silicon app (Rosetta) by MacOS 28. We are aware that eXact 2 Suite is an Intel-based application and will update the application by that next Mac OS release.
