Crystal Glass Pigment enhanced coatings have demonstrated a quantifiable and positive influence on point-of-view visibility of objects for other traffic participants in both daylight and low light conditions. Thereby they effectively enable a faster and controlled transition to a fully integrated autonomous future. Being able to see each other and to be seen by others requires a new awareness of the visibility of color on three-dimensional objects as well as its subsequent usage and visualization during the design stage of automotive and mobility coatings. This in turn calls for an integrated approach to color to fully utilize the functional visibility aspect of color across color and safety design departments within the mobility industry. AxF-files are set to stand at the beginning of incorporating and supporting integration of the visibility functionality of color with its emotional counterpart into the design world of digital twins.
