A factory reset will restore the following defaults to the 962 and 964 instruments:

All of the preceding items can be manually edited via the instrument's "Configuration Menu ". The following also occurs:
All databases will be cleared out, this includes all Samples, Standards, Projects, strings, tags, and jobs. L*a*b* and D65/10 will be the default selects in QA/Analyze…etc Reflectances stored from the last measurement will all be 0's. Calibration will be required before any measurements can be done. Upon Calibration for the first time after a reset, the black cal will most likely complain about dust, and require a second reading.

Calibration plaque values in all aperture sizes configured Center wave lengths Instrument Type (962, 964), instrument serial #, Cal plaque serial #. Initial Cell Strength values (included, excluded, and wall)
