Notes:
Version v10.8.5 is a maintenance release that addresses the following issues:
- Color iControl crashes occasionally when recalling standards from the database.
- The “MS89 C41” and “DEcmc C41” reports couldn’t fit the full Illum/Obs descriptors.
- Some header spacing in the QC reports are poorly formatted.
- UV Calibration does not work in languages other than English.
- Make-ready issue submitting to Score Card Server.
- iQC 10.8.3 crashes frequently.
- JSON dump files are getting created regardless of the debug setting for formulation.
- 2 colorants in show-all with 3 illuminants only display the first 2.
- Saving an “Approved” formula is not working.
- iQC does not highlight out-of-tolerance measurements in the Color Plot.
- iQC does not generate corrections when the target is a Reflectance, but Collection/Substrate is Ref/Tra or OL/OD.
- Missing dLCH for DIN99 in Std/Muti-Trial view
- User can drag-and-drop items into a locked CFR-21 enabled e-Job.
- Film thickness for Primary letdowns is incorrect for XML import.
- Values for CIE94 and DIN99 are incorrect in the Std/Multi-Trial view.
- Textile engine was not generating formulas or corrections correctly.
- Sorting standard by name in the QC tree is unsorted after selecting an item from the drop-list.
Improvements and New features:
- A new method to calculate Color Strength known as the STRENGTH in PARTS.
- Allow the user to delete unwanted device measurements from the average.
- Using AUI 2148-1xxx-xxxx-xx80 for Textile mode.
- SRGB values in formula output.
- Sorting Standards by name now persists after using the drop-down selector.
- Enable the profile status of the device to flag mismatch if it is different than the current Calibration Mode.
Backward compatibility warnings:
- Any e-Job with formulation-related information saved in v10.8 will not be backward compatible with older versions.
- From v10.8.3 with the introduction of the fourth Illuminant/Observer, the Pass/Fail column will now be SC-LCh in the Std/Mult-Trial View.
