Calibration is an essential part of the maintenance procedure that helps insure accurate and repeatable results from your scanner. To calibrate the head, follow the steps below.
-
Make sure the calibration plaques are clean. The plaques are located under the head when it's docked. To expose them, simply push the head away from the docking station and push the trap door toward the docking station. You will see white and black cal plaques. To clean the plaques, use a clean dry cotton cloth and simply polish the plaques. Do not use any chemicals, oils, glass cleaner, or soap. After the calibration plaques are clean, push the head back to the docking station.
