Notes:

We recommend having the latest TAC7 Firmware version installed before using PANTORA. Firmware upgrades are done with the TAC7 Diagnostics tool. Both firmware and diagnostics tool can be downloaded here here.

In order to use PANTORA's connectivity feature, it is recommended to update the respective device driver and Firmware to the latest version. Please find the corresponding downloads at Ci7XX0, MetaVue, and MA-T12.

Pantora 2023.1 SP1 contains the following new features and improvements:

Browser
- Added new export format “MDL” which exports to Nvidia’s MDL format (experimental)
Editor
- Added new variation function for roughness transfer
- Allow to replace the source material by numerous inputs
- Minor: improved visibility of selection frame in texture editor
New Connect features
- Support for multi-thickness plastic chip measurements for Ci7x connection (experimental)
- Support for SVBRDF from MA-T12 (experimental)
Material processing / fitting
- Add “Angular Compression” parameter to CPA2 fitting (both Connect + TAC7)
- Bugfix in SP1: “Diffuse Only" expert option was not working correctly
Minor fixes and improvements
- Improved stability of CPA2 flake processing
