Adjusting Terminal Services Connection Properties for X-RiteColor Master Web
X-RiteColor Master WEB Edition is delivered to the client computers using Microsoft Terminal Services and Microsoft Explorer v6.0 or higher. During installation the customer must create Terminal Services accounts for each person or computer that will be accessing the XCM software. Accounts for these same users must also be established using the Xadmin utility of the XCM software. There are several connection properties that can be adjusted to optimize the installation. Below are several screen grabs reflecting the current settings of the X-Rite demonstration server (http://webdemo.xrite.com).
- Launch the "Terminal Services Configuration" program.

Access the "RDP-Tcp" connection properties.

Sample "Session" settings from our demo server. Note that this configuration centralizes the connection properties such that each user is given the same rights. If the "Override user settings" check boxes are cleared it is then possible to give each user unique connection properties.
