Unable to get version information from registry Error

Occasionally, we have encountered an error upon loading a Paint Support Software cd update - "Unable to get version information from registry."

This error can mean that the software may be running in the background and a restart of the PC will fix this issue.

This error can simply means that the ColorDesigner main application is not loaded onto this pc. The update either needs to be taken to the pc with ColorDesigner loaded onto it or the ColorDesigner main application must be loaded on this pc first before installing the update.
