Restoring the eXact device back to Factory Default Settings

eXact™ – Resetting and Restoring Factory Defaults:

Restoring factory defaults on the device:

1. From the main menu select diagnostics

2. Select the information icon.

*Note: From the information icon you can also view instrument type, serial number,

firmware version and more.

3. Select “Restore Factory Settings”

*Important: initiating a restore will delete all user profiles, settings, tools, color libraries,

samples, job names and job templates. When the instrument restarts the setup wizard screen appears.

 

Resetting the device using the eXact Manager Software:

1. Select the “Instrument” button in the lower left hand corner of the software.

2. Select the “Diagnostics Tab”.

3. Select the “Restore Factory Settings” button.

4. You will see the following popup window reminding you that you are about to restore your device to factory default settings.

Important: initiating a restore will delete all user profiles, settings, tools, color libraries,

samples, job names and job templates. When the instrument restarts the setup

wizard screen appears.
