Communication error with instrument in X-RiteColor Master

A common cause of this error is related to the baud rate being set too high or too low. (Baud rate is the default speed at which data travels from the instrument to and from software.)

To change the baud rate referr to your instrument's manual for directions to the instrument configuration menu (It varies from instrument to instrument). The baud rate should be set to the default which is 9600.
