Log and support files location for i1Profiler

If you encounter difficulties in using i1Profiler, we may require log files to examine and possibly forward to our software engineers. Here's where they are located.Log and Support files for i1Profiler

Our X-Rite Support Specialists might have asked you to provide some Log Files or other helpful support files for i1Profiler. Here is an overview, where to find those files on a Mac or Windows System: 


Macintosh

• Assets:
  - Startup Disk/Library/Application Support/X-Rite/i1Profiler
  - Or access files through i1Profiler UI by right-clicking on an asset and selecting Open in Finder

• Log Files
  - Application Logs: Startup Disk/Users/<username>/Library/Logs/
     - i1ProfilerDisplayLogger.txt
     - i1ProfilerLogger.txt
     -  i1ProfilerMeasurementLogger.txt' 
  - Device Logs: /Library/Logs/X-Rite/Device/

• Preferences: 
  - Startup Disk/Users/<username>/Library/Preferences/com.x-rite.i1Profiler.plist


Windows 10 , Windows 8.1, & Windows 7

• Assets
  - C:\ProgramData\X-Rite\i1Profiler
  - Or access files through i1Profiler UI by right-clicking on an asset and selecting Open Containing Folder

• Log Files
  - Application Logs: C:\Users\Admin\AppData\Roaming\X-Rite\i1Profiler\Logger
    - i1ProfilerDisplayLogger.txt,
    - i1ProfilerLogger.txt,
    - i1ProfilerMeasurementLogger.txt' 
  - Device Logs: C:\Users\Admin\AppData\Roaming\X-Rite\Devices\Logs\
