Where can I read more about the MQSA?

The "Mammography Quality Standards Reauthorization Act of 1998"  was passed by Congress in September of 1998. Shortly thereafter it was unanimously approved by the Senate and signed into law by Bill Clinton. The act becomes effective on April 28, 1999 and will affect facilities that perform breast diagnostic (mammography) imaging. The following link will take you directly to the Food and Drug Administration's website; this links to the Center for Devices and Radiological Health's - Mammography Quality and Radiation Programs clearinghouse of documents and links (whew what a mouthful). Another important site is the American College of Radiology. These two sites are "must sees"!
