Instrument not found in ProfileMaker 5.0.7 and above (Windows only)
If the DTP70 will not connect to ProfileMaker v.5.0.7 and above (Windows only), there is a very simple solution. Follow these instructions:
- Open ProfileMaker
- Select "Edit" in the title bar and then click on "Preferences".
- In the "Preferences" window, select "AUTO" from the "Instrument Port" drop down menu.
- Select "OK" to save the setting.
- The user will now be able to successfully connect to the DTP70.
Note: As of PM 5.0.8, there is no direct support for the DTP70 on a Macintosh platform. Please see the "Related Article" at the bottom of this page for a workaround.
