Created Monitor Profile Caused bad Posterized Effect

The gamma curves in the summary screen of i1Match have strange spikes after calibration and the monitor looks 'over-contrasted' almost posterized similar to what Photoshop produces in a gamut warning.Your monitor was probably set to an unusual contrast behavior before you calibrated with i1Match that wasn't noticeable until after the profile process tried to produce accurate results to the gamut. To correct this, go to the MacOS X menu

Apple > System Preferences > Universal Access.

Select the "Seeing" tab and make sure that the Contrast slider is set to "Normal." or all the way to the left. Even if this slider is moved one notch it can render poor results. Repeat the monitor calibration with Eye-One Match.
