Installation problems with ColorPort 1.5.3 on an Intel Mac with 10.4.9 might be related to limited permission rights on the computer. Please follow these steps to solve the issue:
- Drag any existing ColorPort folder to the trash
- In the Library\Receipts folder, drag any existing ColorPort installer pkg
receipt to the trash
- Do a 'Get Info' on the \X-Rite folder and verify that the permissions
on that folder are set to 'Read and Write' (if they are set to 'Read Only',
the installer will not be able to write there).
It is also recommended to do a permissions repair if you have not done so for a while.
