Profile process restarts during measurement - iOS - ColorTRUE
Symptom: I just tried to setup a profile on my iPad2 this morning. It sees the application on my workstation and begins the calibration procedure. However it just keeps restarting the process. After the third or fourth time I gave up.
Countermeasure: Connecting the sync cable while attempting the profile allowed it to work.
In reviewing the log files submitted by the customer it was determined that the restart was caused by inaccurate readings caused by a low battery condition. When connected to the computer with the sync cable the iOS device was receiving power from the computer and able to complete the profile.
