Instrument LCD display that gets progressively darker as the customer performs multiple measurements. Pixilated images, especially in the black area of the image, will normally accompany this.
POSSIBLE CAUSES -
Heavy breathing into the instrument tip during measuring can cause the optics glass to fog in very rare occasions - Modify targeting technique to eliminate any possibility of this (see "Images are Pixilated and Grainy" below). If problem persists, check for other possible causes.
Low battery charge - Reset the instrument and charge for three hours. Performing the ShadeVision Battery Rejuvenation (see Related Support below) might help as well. If symptoms persist, return the instrument for repair.
Malfunctioning illuminator - Instrument will need to be returned for repair.
Thermal rise issue or a voltage control problem brought on by a faulty digital board - Instrument will need to be returned for repair.
