Importing colors to QuarkXPress but the Add/Remove buttons are grayed out.
This is caused by an extension conflict. The most common cause is Speech Manager v1.4. To fix the problem, open Extensions Manager (or Conflict Catcher, a third-party version) locate the extension and turn it off. Next, restart the computer and re-export the palette.
The colors should import properly. An additional possibility is conflict with After Dark screen saver. If this is the case, disable the After Dark extension, restart the computer and re-export the palette. It should now import properly.
